Zendio Empowers Microsoft Outlook Users to Know when Email is Read; Links are Clicked
27 Sep 2011
Sarasota, Fla., (Sept. 27, 2011) - Microsoft® Outlook users can now know whether someone read their email or clicked any of the enclosed links with the release of Zendio, a new software solution from XL Technologies. Zendio is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook that is as easy to download and use as an application. Unlike Outlook read receipts, Zendio automatically tracks emails and instantly provides detailed read and click-through statistics that enable better and more insightful follow-up. A 30-day free trial of Zendio is now available.
"Email continues to be a valuable tool for interacting with business contacts. Too often, however, emails are overlooked, ignored or get caught in a spam filter," said Robert Dodd, CEO of XL Technologies. "Zendio not only confirms if an email is read, it provides insight into the way it is read, enabling users to tailor their email and follow up activities accordingly in order to develop better customer and client relationships and achieve better business results."
Zendio adds value to the use of email through three key features: an Email Tracking feature helps determine if intended recipients read emails, a Link Tracking feature notifies users when the recipient clicks an embedded link, and an Analytics feature compiles data to help identify patterns and actionable insight into how recipients are interacting with emails. For example, when a Zendio user sends one of his/her clients an email using Zendio, the user can see if the client takes a few minutes or two to three hours to open email, and wait until after that window to follow-up.
Zendio's special features provide:
"Customers love it when sales people anticipate their needs. Zendio can help any service professional achieve a highly differentiated level of service," said Peter Brockmann, industry analyst and President of Brockmann & Company.
- A date time stamp - to help users identify if and when recipients read their email, helping them better decide what to do next: follow up immediately, wait for a response or cross it off the "to do" list.
- Link tracking - to help users gauge a recipient's level of interest in the email's content, so they know where to start or continue the conversation.
- IP-based location - to help users locate where a recipient is located when reading their email and determine the recipient's capacity to respond.
Zendio Stationery Creator
Zendio also offers an Email Stationary Creator to extend branding tools, such as logos, business cards and letterhead, to email. Zendio offers customizable templates that host images - including headers, footers and/or signatures - on a server, where they cannot be converted into attachments or a format that is flagged and automatically moved to a junk folder.
Zendio customers who have used the beta version of the product have seen the product benefit their businesses. A Director of Sales and Marketing at a Health Insurance company notes:
I'm really thrilled with Zendio. It's working flawlessly and it's helping me make sales. It's really cool when I see that someone has read my email, that they have clicked on a link and which link, so that I can call them or email something of interest to them at that moment. It has definitely improved my conversion rates on email.
